Mr. Tung Chee Hong holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), with research titled 'Study of medically important fungus, Candida albicans at the molecular level'.

During his 15 years career as Field Application Manager, he has been invited as speaker for various seminars, conferences and workshops, just to name a few: Basic Course: Molecular Biology and Application MKKB, Seminar on Current Techniques in Molecular Biology Experiment UiTM Puncak Alam, Empowering The Future with Molecular Genetics UiTM Puncak Alam, Microbial NGS Workshop and many more.

Besides being speaker for years, he attended world-class training organized by well-renowned companies from time-to-time, including FastPrep-24™ 5G Instrument Training from MP Biomedicals in Singapore, New England Biolabs Technical Training in Ipswich, STEMCELL Technologies Training in Vancouver, Canada, 5th Next Generation Sequencing Conference in Biopolis, Singapore, Oxford Nanopore Training in Singapore, 10x Genomics Single Cell Training in Singapore and etc.

With his vast experience as Field Application Manager, here are his five main areas of expertise: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Protein Expression, and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
